The country is eagerly waiting to see if Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition party will file a petition at the Supreme Court after their presidential candidate Raila Odinga termed the results as null and void in a press briefing.
The team has less than seven days to file the petition with four IEBC commissioners also disagreeing with the presidential results that were announced by Chairperson Wafula Chebukati on Monday.
It has come as a surprise after Tiaty MP, William Kamket congratulated United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party leader and President-elect William Ruto on winning the general elections that were held a week ago.
The Azimio leader under the KANU party, further revealed that it was very difficult for one to beat a Kalenjin man if they attempted to run against him. With fans following his page claiming that the sentiments were directed to Raila.
“Congrats Dr William Ruto for your well-deserved win. Indeed, no one can run against a Kalenjin man a win. May God gives you the wisdom to lead this country on the right path,” he posted on Facebook.
