William Ruto and his entourage were warmly welcomed by local residents at Tala town in Machakos county. A huge crowd of local residents from Tala town are present in the rally to listen to deputy president William Ruto 2022 presidential manifesto.

The second in command is accompanied by several leaders from the region allied to UDA party. They include former Machakos senator and UDA national chairman Johnstone Muthama, Machakos Town legislator Victor Munyaka, Mwala MP Vincent Musau among a host of aspirants.
Ruto will address several issues affecting the county and entire Ukambani region. He will also popularize his presidential bid under his new bottom-up economic model which aims at empowering local traders and small scale traders.
After his rally in Tala town, Ruto and his entourage will proceed to Kangundo Town, Kakuyunu Town and Matungulu town. He is expected to tour other towns in the county before he terminates is one-day tour in Machakos county.
