Maa leaders have condemned president Uhuru Kenyatta for being selective in fighting violence in the country ahead of August general election.
Despite condemning the heckling of former prime minister Raila Odinga in Uasin Gishu few days ago, Maa leaders led by former Narok west MP Hon Patrick Ole Ntutu who is eying for gubernatorial seat, those leaders wondered why president Uhuru Kenyatta was silent during the attack of William Ruto in Kisumu last year.
He has urged all leaders who truly wants peace to condemn all kinds of violences without being selective as majority have done during the attack of Raila Odinga.
"We condemned the heckling of Raila Odinga in Uasin Gishu county and we want to urge our Youths not to accept to be used by politicians during this campaign season"said Hon Ntutu.
"But am surprised that majority of leaders led by president who were silent during the attack of William Ruto are in forefront talking about the attack of Raila Odinga. Leaders should not be selective when they are talking about violence" he added.
