Mathare MP Anthony Oluoch has claimed that the Hustler’s Fund that the government has launched on 30th November is the CDF. He has alleged that it is the Hustler Fund that has been delaying the money for development in constituencies.

The MPs have been blaming the government for the delay of Hustler’s Fund which no constituency has received. Both Azimio and Kenya Kwanza MPs have agreed that there is no way the government can do away with CDF. All agree that CDF is key in developing constituencies and without it many projects in the constituencies could grind to a halt.

Hours after President Ruto launched Hustler Fund, Anthony has claimed that it could be the CDF. Azimio coalition where Oluoch belongs have been faulting the fund. Azimio say that the Hustler Fund has no difference with what most digital money lenders provide.

“I suspect that the Hustler’s Fund money that the President has launched today is the CDF money that MPs have not received,” the MP has said.

During campaigns, President Ruto promised that Hustler Fund was going to be free money but a number of things have now been changed about the fund. Despite the promise that it was not going to attract any interest, the fund is going to be charged 8 percent interest every year.
