Boni Khalwale, the current senator of Kakamega county was elected as the senator for Kakamega county during the August general elections. He was elected through United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party ticket Today, Senator Boni Khalwale visited the Malinya Dairy.

As a leader and as farmer, Senator Boni Khalwale interacted with the Malinya Dairy farmers in how to improve production of dairy cattles. They also discussed on how to seek market for the dairy products including milk.

After having great talks with Malinya residents, Senator Boni Khalwale was awarded with an heifer. Heifer is a mature female cow that has not yet given birth.

Somewhere else, the UDA party leader President William Ruto was awarded a mature bull during his official visit in Homabay county few days ago.
