Details Emerge of Ruto's Aborted Trip to US in 2019 As Gov't Clears DP To Fly To US This Week

Deputy President William Ruto is expected to visit United Kingdom and United States of America starting this Sunday.

The DP will take almost 12 days to finish off his trip,with sources revealing that the second in command will meet with various top leaders from the UK, US as well as Kenyans living in the two countries.

And now reports have emerged of DP Ruto's aborted trip to US and Canada in the year 2019.

According to The Standard, DP Ruto's then Director of Communications David Mugonyi,said that the DP Ruto's trip was cancelled because of very tight schedules,since the Head of State was to be out of the county too.

Already, Foreign Affairs Principal Secretary Macharia Kamau has said that DP Ruto's visit to United States of America and United Kingdom has been cleared by the government.

Towards the end of last year, Deputy President William Ruto was stopped from flying to Uganda,over suspicion that he was due to fly with wanted man Harun Aydin.
