Machakos governor Alfred Mutua is one of the best performing governors in Kenya. He is well renonwed across the country on his progressive development records. The vocal governor has already declared his presidential bid. He has been hosting various delegations at his office.
Today the Governor hosted Machakos county assembly leadership. The leaders held a consultative discussion about various issues affecting the county. They reflected on various matters affecting the county. They also evaluated on the progress of development projects in the county.
The governor thanked the county assembly leadership for their harmonious working relationship with the county executive. He urged the county leaders to be people centred in their service delivery. He promised to continue working with the county assembly leadership in delivering quality services to Machakos residents.
His sentiments were espoused by Machakos county deputy governor Hon. Francis Maliti and Machakos county assembly speaker Hon. Florence Mwangangi. The leaders pledged to work together to make Machakos county a better place.
