ODM Insider Admits That Uhuru Is Not Committed In Azimio

Uhuru Kenyatta just departed the executive branch of government, and the unidentified sources who talked to Monday's publication refuted claims that he was dedicated to the coalition's objectives.

They contend that Azimio la Umoja's position would be enhanced if the former president had a defined plan before the 2027 general election.

"We are expecting a commitment from his Azimio cause. There have been numerous talks following his retirement, but we must acknowledge his coalition-building efforts "one of the officials reportedly said.

As head of the Azimio la Umoja council, a position Uhuru Kenyatta received after endorsing Raila Odinga in the august presidential race, he is rumored to be considering resigning. Raila Odinga, on the other hand, has promised that he won't.

Another ODM lawmaker blasted Uhuru Kenyatta for his silence and blamed it on Azimio la Umoja's broad defection, which led Mount Kenya leaders to join their adversaries in the Kenya Kwanza Alliance.

The alleged ODM official advised Uhuru Kenyatta to emerge from hiding after his retirement so that Azimio could be overhauled and used against Ruto's camp.

In the event that Kenyatta leaves the Azimio la Umoja council, Odinga's camp has already begun developing a list of potential contenders for chairperson.
