Former President Uhuru Kenyatta was in Mombasa City over the weekend, where he was hosted at a popular beach hotel.
It has been confirmed that the President and his family spent part of his weekend in Mombasa, and had their lunch at the Moorings Restaurant located in Mtwapa.
The former president's presence at the port city was confirmed by the hotel which took to its social media pages and shared pictures of Kenyatta.
The hotel's manager later revealed to Nation what the Uhuru ordered for himself and for his family.
He ate a variety of seafood.
"Indeed, the former president was here with his family on Saturday. for a private lunch where they savoured select seafood items from our diverse menu, the restaurant's manager Francis Wekesa told Nation Africa on Monday.
It is believed Uhuru also met with his handshake brother Raila Odinga who was also in Mombasa. Raila observed his birthday in the coastal region.
