According to Senator Ochilo Ayacko the deputy president William Ruto visit in Migori was welcome but politically it was null and void for the region is under lock and key into ODM. According to him, he was aware most leaders would welcome Ruto but again its clear politically he would achieve minimal results.
Achilo Ayacko reveals that DP Ruto was welcome to fight for his space in the region though as a matter of fact he has little impact in the region. He is of the view that the region cannot support his bottoms up politics for they are already into the 'Azimio la Umoja' caravan.
Ochilo Ayacko is of the view that the deputy president William Ruto insulted members of the community a lot while in jubilee and might never get forgiven. He feels though he was welcome in the region he must then desist from insulting leaders.
Therefore its clear plans for Ruto visit in the region is highly welcome for some of the leader like Okoth Obado are set to welcome the second in command. Also as among others Kopiyo who vied as an independent in Awendo but lost to Walter Owino of ODM. It's a matter of wait and see of how DP Ruto visit will go given the region seems to appreciate DP Ruto's bottom up politics
