According to Governor Waiguru, while addressing Kirinyaga residents in a viral video, the Governor has been recorded informing that,
"Will you vote for me back in the year 2022? You heard me saying that I will listen to the direction the people of Kirinyaga want me to follow. I said I will follow what the people of Kirinyaga want me to do."
Waiguru continued to ask the resident of Kirinyaga "Which party do you want me to use in 2022? posed the governor as the crowd chanted UDA.
After Waiguru hinting that he might be headed to the UDA party, Raila Odinga's elder brother Oburu Odinga has fired back informing that the Kirinyaga Governor has proven that the UDA party linked to the Second in Command is a den of corrupt leaders alleging that now that the Kirinyaga Governor has joined them, she will soon be branded as clean and uncorrupt.
"Madam Ann Waiguru joining was with no doubt. That's the den where she belongs among others, name them on DCI radar. And the song will immediately change how she's hardworking," Oburu Odinga has said.
Earlier Oburu Odinga had also fired at Waiguru's alleged move to join UDA saying that "Now you can tell exactly what UDA is. They were bashing Gov. Ann Waiguru and calling her all names, saying she swindled NYS, but the tune has changed since she's heading there. She's now an angel. Tangatanga is worse than Sodoma and Gomorrah."
