Kenyan Women Told What They Will Realize About Raila if They Attend His Event on Friday

Kenyan women should ensure that they attend ODM leader Raila Odinga's final 'Azimio La Umoja' event in Nairobi on Friday in large numbers, Homa Bay Woman Representative Gladys Wanga has said.

It is at the event set for the Kasarani Stadium where Raila is expected to make public his plans for the 2022 presidential contest. He has said that he will also use it to answer questions from his supporters.

Wanga says that there will be a lot for Kenyan women to grasp at the event, saying that they have every reason to attend. She says that it is there where they will realize just how concerned he is about them.

Wanga stated that it is here that he will tell them what he has for them in store, saying that they ultimately will realize that they are safe with him as their leader and the next President of Kenya.

"On Friday it will be evident that the women of Kenya are safe in the hands of Baba," she said when herself and other allies of the former Premier visited the venue to check on the progress of the preparations.

Kitutu Chache MP Richard Onyonka said that everything is ready for the event, with Dagoretti North MP Simba Arati urging those planning to attend to adhere to Covid-19 mitigation measures.

ODM Chair John Mbadi expressed fears that the venue could overflow, suggesting that the attendees could exceed the 60,000 the stadium can hold.

"We are expecting sixty thousand people and we hope that they don't exceed the number because that is the only capacity this stadium can hold," the Suba South MP said according to Citizen TV.

The event is also set to be attended by leaders from President Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee Party, as well as delegates and guests from across the world.
