According to him, increasing the prices of fuel is making the economic condition of many Kenyans worsen.
The DP asked the Cabinet Sub Committee to meet and deliberate on the matter and provide advice to Government and Kenyans at large on the way forward.
He also asked the energy committee of the National Assembly to have discussions with the Cabinet secretary of the ministry involved to have talks that will see the issues amended to the benefit of Kenyans.
His remarks come at a time when Kenyans on Social media have been calling for action.
Many of the protested the fuel increment saying it has dealt many Kenyans a huge blow given that many are surviving on meagre pay as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
