Raila Odinga is finally expected to announce his presidential bid for the 2022 general elections,in an event that will be held in Kasarani this Friday.
It will be Raila's fifth effort to win the country's highest position, and he will make his case for why he is the ideal man for the job.
The meeting on Friday is also anticipated to reveal who Raila will link up with in the 2022 general elections.
Musalia Mudavadi, the ANC's leader, is not expected to attend. He's been launching harsh comments on Raila recently.
According to ANC deputy chairman Ayub Savula,they have not received any invitation to attend the Fridays event.Savula added that it is ODM affair.
Junet Mohamed, the MP for Suna East, is leading the planning team for the Kasarani event, which includes five representatives from each of the country's 1,450 wards.
This indicates there would be at least 7,250 people from all throughout the country in attendance.
