Wanjigi Rubbishes Raila's Promise To the Youths

Jimmy Wanjigi gmhas rubbished promises made by former Prime minister Raila Odinga to the youths saying it is not possible for a nation in Kenya's state to accomplish that.

The Orange Democratic Movement party presidential aspirant said that for Raila Odinga who had made a promise to give Kshs. 6000 monthly to jobless youths and impoverished families once elected the next President, the nation would spend nearly Kshs. 300 billion every year because the number of unemployed youths as at now stands at 4 million.

Wanjigi added that the implementation would be unfair to the working class who will burdened as they are already overtaxed. Wanjigi who has since declared to challenge Raila in getting the ODM ticket said that instead of Raila promising money, he should fight for the implementation of the social security act that provides the framework for government to assist all unemployed Kenyans. He was speaking while addressing the press at AIPCA Kutus in Kirinyaga county.
