President Uhuru Kenyatta has been working closely with Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga after the famous 2018 March handshake between them. The handshake helped to instill peace and serenity in the country which was a dilemma before the handshake.
The coming together of the two political heavyweights was not well received by the deputy president, William Ruto and it was the genesis of all the troubles in the ruling party. Ruto has been against the handshake and has called upon the National super alliance principals to give the president humble to deliver the big four agenda in the country.
Today the president has been in Kilifi at Rabai where he was issuing title deeds to the coastal people. Uhuru has hit out at his deputy saying that there is no harm with working with opposition because it is with an aim of working for the people. He has called out to those who are talking ill of him on political podiums to stop and approach him for a conversation.
