UDA Candidate Breaks Silence After IEBC Suspended Mombasa Gubernatorial Elections, Reveals His Plan

With less than 24 hours to tomorrow's much anticipated general elections, Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission are finalizing everything to ensure that elections with be held free and fair.

Mombasa Governor Hon Ali Hassan Joho is finishing his second term tomorrow in the office. Two leading gubernatorial candidates for Mombasa County are Hon Omar Hassan of United Democratic Alliance (UDA) and Hon Abdulswamad Nassir of ODM.

And now, Hassan Omar has revealed that Mombasa gubernatorial race might be postponed. He reveals that he is consulting with Kenya Kwanza Alliance's top leadership and he will issue a statement.

"My running mate, Hon Selina Maitha, and I have learned with shock and disbelief of the intended postponement of the Mombasa gubernatorial elections. In the circumstance, I read mischief and malice in the intended postponement.
