The incumbent Kenya's Deputy president Dr William Samoei Ruto, the Former Prime Minister Rt Hon Raila Amollo Odinga and a vast other presidential aspirants will seemingly engage in a cut throat battle in the August 9th presidential election in a solemn move to unravel who will inherit the mantle of power from Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta.
According to a newly released opinion poll by the Star Newspaper, the Kenya Kwanza presidential flagbearer Dr William Samoei Ruto is more popular in 4 major regions compared to the Azimio One Kenya coalition party presidential flagbearer Rt Hon Raila Amollo Odinga.
In the Central region, the popularity of DP Ruto now stands at 52% whereas that of Raila stands at 32.2%. In North Rift region, Ruto's popularity is at 68.9% while that of Raila is at 22.6%. In South Rift, Ruto enjoys a popularity of 51.5% while Raila has a popularity of 35.1%.
