Those thinking that Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru is headed to the United Democratic Alliance Party linked with Deputy President William Ruto have received their answer as the one-term governor issues fresh details.
According to Governor Waiguru, she has said that she has done much for the People of Kirinyaga and that she is very sure that even if the elections are held today, she will secure back her seat even if she runs on an independent ticket.
"I have done much for the people of Kirinyaga, I am sure that if election ls were held today and I stand as an independent candidate, I will be reelected," Said Governor Anne Waiguru.
Asked which party she intends to use in the year 2022. Governor Waiguru has rubbished claims that she is planning to use the Democratic Alliance Party saying that.
"I have done developments and my work as a governor. I am aware that you could have done much, but the political vehicle you use denies you the votes," Waiguru said.
Adding that "I am still interacting with my people and soon I will state which party I will join."
