The independent electoral and boundaries commission will officially announce the results of the presidential elections at 3:pm today.

The independent electoral communion has invited all the media stations to attend the much-awaited announcement at 3:00 pm, at the Bomas of Kenya.

Kenyans went to the polls on the 9th of August to elect their leaders of choice. There has been anxiety across the country as kenyans wait to know their fifth president.

The Azimo la Umoja la uomja one Kenya alliance and the Kenya Kwanza alliance are both expecting their candidate to be announced.

But definitely, one between the two front runners will emerge as the winner, and one will be a loser.

The two leaders have shown stiff competition as per the results that have been tallied provisionally. The winner is expected to lead with a slight margin.

The deputy president, William Ruto was making his first attempt after serving as deputy for 10 years. Raila Odinga on the other hand was making his fifth attempt on the ballot.
