Many opponents have even tried using this against him during campaigns claiming that the office of the governor is not a fashion show.
The governor has severally stirred debate online over the price of his outfit.
Severally netizens have raised debates over Joho's shoe game with most people asking the governor to allow them into his closet to pick only one pair.
At one point, Joho proved his sense for fashion after he posted online wearing a Louis Vuitton sneakers called the 'Now Yours' sneakers.
The sneakers are made of a mix of monogram canvas, technical lining and a rubber hand-crafted outsole and costs around Sh92,000.
"Can someone tell Joho I have admired this shoes Sana," the MCA posted after a photo of Joho surfaced online on the shoe he was wearing during the recent Mombasa leaders consultative meeting where ODM leader Raila Odinga was in attendance.
The MCA on showing admiration on the shoe has not even shied on asking the flamboyant governor to donate the shoe to him.
"Just donate this pair to me for God sake, I know he has many so he can't notice if there is any difference kwa shoe cabinet yake," the MCA continue.
The governor is yet to respond but we hope he will soon give a positive response and quench Tangai's thirst for the shoe.
