"I Accept The Challenge For Presidency" Newly Nominated Candidate Declares

KANU FRESH party leader Gideon Moi acknowledged that he has accepted the party's nomination to run for the presidency in the next year's general elections.

On Thursday 30th KANU held a national delegates conference at Bomas of Kenya Nairobi to officially announce their presidential candidate.

Other Leaders from other parties under the One Kenya Alliance (OKA) also attended. Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader, Raila Odinga was the chief guest in the colorful fete.

The former Vice President and Wiper party leader, Hon. Kalonzo Musyoka did not miss the event.

Amani National Congress party was represented by their leader and former Deputy President Musalia Mudavadi.

Those were viewed as recognizable signatories who made the event a success.

Gideon Moi said, "My heritage makes me the most unlikely person to stand in your presence today and be nominated for the presidency by you. The voice of the people is the voice of God. I'm obliged to heed your call to serve as it is the only patriotic thing to do".
