Breaking: Four IEBC Commissioners Disclose Three Reasons Why They Rejected Presidential Results

The controversial four Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) commissioners have once again held a surprise press conference at Serena Hotel, Nairobi a day after they said they would not take ownership of the results that were announced by chair Wafula Chebukati.

In their statement on Tuesday afternoon, they noted that the results of the August 9th by the chairperson of the IEBC Wafula Chebukati

They noted that they declined to take ownership of the results because the aggregation of the percentages as presented to the Commission were not correct.

Juliana Cherera noted that once Kenyans add the percentages they noted that the final summation gave a total that is absurd and it is not correct and would make a significant difference in the final result.

Juliana Cherera, "The total exceeded the 100% mark, the 0.01% translates to 142,000 votes which made a significant difference in the final presidential results."

They have also noted that the results announced by the chairperson of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission lacked a lot of information including the total number of registered voters.

They have also noted that the results of the presidential election as announced by the commission were not that of those of the commission and hence they were individual results and not the commission's.
