As the 2022 succession politics and Building Bridges Initiative continues to gain momentum, various leaders who wishes to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta have been out hunting for support to strengthen their political bases ahead of bruising elections 2022.However, some section of leaders allied to Dp Ruto have been calling out on President Uhuru, that he is using BBI to remain in power.
And now yesterday evening, the Head of State addressed the locals in Nairobi. Uhuru said that there are some who are saying he wants to remain power but he told them that he knows he will be going home next year. However, he said that he wants to leave Kenya not in the hands of corrupt leaders and oppressors, but in the hands of sound and good leaders. He told those who have been going round insulting him that he has no problem with it.
He also told the Nairobi residents that BBI is not about him or Raila, but about Kenyans. He added that BBI will ensure equal distribution of resources including CDF, as more constituencies will be created as proposed by the report.
Uhuru must have talking to Tangatanga members who have been talking about gin day and night, especially from the Mount Kenya region. It was only yesterday when Kiharu Ndidi Nyoro argued that Jubilee government has been marred with intimidations and threats to its members, who opines differently to the party executive.
