The statement by Suna East MP Junet Mohamed that the next government will belong to Nyanza region has continued to elicit mixed reactions among Kenyans at large with deputy president Dr William Samoei Ruto allies grabbing the opportunity to poke holes at Odinga's presidecy.
Gatundu South member of Parliament Hon Moses Kuria who happens to be deputy president Dr William Samoei Ruto ally has also joined in criticising Junet's unexpected remarks.
In his statement, Moses Kuria who has been missing in political arena it is because of Junet's unfortunate remarks that the Mt Kenya region needs to control atleast 40% of the government .
According to the Tanga Tanga allied lawmaker, Mt Kenya should be given 40% of government vital ministries and everything to ensure the vote rich Mt Kenya interests are taken care of.
He said anybody including former prime minister Raila Odinga's camp should first meet the irreducible minimum of 40% before thinking of getting Mt Kenya region votes.

"If you listened to the Junet Mohammed Video, you will understand why Mt Kenya is demanding 40% share of government and everything. Na tutiraguagua ! Before you say we have enjoyed power for I don't know how many years, wekelea 40% first. Haiiiiiya," MP Kuria reacted.
