A Lifeline For Sakaja As High Court Blocks Petitioner's Bid To Stop Him From vying

The High Court has directed a petitioner to give room for Johnson Sakaja to give his explanations on Monday on the pestering matter surrounding the authenticity of his degree certificate.

Through magistrate Justice Anthony Mrima the courts argument was the move to have the Independent electoral and Boundaries commission (IEBC) stop the printing of the Nairobi Gubernatorial the ballot papers,

will be unlawful as the gubernatorial aspirant and his affiliates parties would have been denied an essential court right which is an accorded opportunity for everyone one to be heard. 

Dennis Wahome a Nairobi based electorate, filed the case in court in an attempt to have the IEBC stop the printing of ballot papers for the Nairobi governor race pending a determination on the authenticity Sakaja's degree certificate.

Wahome has argued that the governor's contradictory statements in the past in regards to his academics need be investigated giving an example of:

That he claims to have studied in Nairobi university in 2017 and he has changed the narrative in 2022 now he has a degree from Team university in Uganda.
