The second in command, deputy president William Ruto rally in Jacaranda Grounds was momentarily halted after a rowdy crowd opposing him disrupted.
Anti -riot police officers engaged them as they lobbed tear gas. They tried to disperse them from the venue where UDA team was addressing people.
William Ruto has responded to those who tried to disrupt his meeting informing that he will ensure that culture of throwing stone come to an end if elected. He alleges that many youths have been depending on loans from Fuliza hence fail to develop themselves. He claims that he will set aside 50 million to cater for those challenges.
" Msikue na wasiwasi, hii mambo ya mawe tunaimaliza mwaka huu. Sisi tunasema kazi ni kazi, wira ni wira. Wale mnakopa pesa kwa fuliza, mwaka huu tunaweka bilioni hamsini," William Ruto said.
Ruto furthur stated that they will not be intimidated by few individuals informing that Kenya is a democratic country.
" Ile uoga mnataka kutuuzia, sisi ni wakenya na nchi hii ni yetu na hamuezi kututisha," he stated.
