Ruto, who was accompanied by a number of Kenya Kwanza led by Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula accompanied Ruto to Ongata Rongai in Kajiado where they drummed up support for their newly formed team and Kenya Kwanza
Ruto took the opportunity to introduce his deputy to Kenyans, saying he is so qualified to deliver the Kenya Kwanza a presidential vote. He added that they will be working together with Musalia, Wetangula and others to ensure they will the presidency.
On his part, Rigathi Gachagua thanked Ruto, saying he was more than ready to ensure that the Mt Kenya vote is in Ruto's basket. He went ahead to urge Kajiado residents to consider voting in Katoo Ole Metito as their next governor, adding that they business community's interests in Kajiado will be well taken care of under Metito's leadership
On his part, Ford Kenya Party Leader Moses Wetangula expressed confidence that Ruto and Gachagua will deliver Kenyans from economic bondage.
"9th August polls will be a vote to drop Unga prices, a vote to drop fertilizers prices and ensure that our economy is restored. Take care to avoid being hoodwinked into voting for somebody's project who will not change anything," stated Wetangula
