At around 11 pm police vehicles parked at Hallingham, a shop being operated by the senator indicated all was not well. Later on a post by Robert Allai went viral on social media confirming the senator has been arrested.
However, the nominated senator has dismissed the claims of her arrest due to operating the Wines and Spirits shop past curfew hours. She has assured her worried supporters that she is okay. " Watu wangu mimi niko sawa ka usingizi kananibamba tu... Izo zingine ni story." She said in a late-night post on her social media account.
The senator is one of the supporters of UDA, a party being used as a political vehicle by deputy president William Ruto. Her arrest would have been another huge blow for the hustler nation as she has been openly criticizing the economy and the opposing side NASA.
The UDA takes this as a political weapon by those in the government to silence the hustler's theme. This happens a few days after Mathira Mp Hon. Rigathi, also a UDA supporter spend nights at the Gigiri police station for allegedly stealing 12billion.
The question comes, if she was not arrested for operating past curfew hours, what happened? Follow for nore updates.
