Over the weekend, the Deputy President William Ruto pushed forward his campaign agenda in Mt Kenya region, Kiambu County. The Deputy President and his entourage had attended a church service at Githunguri on Sunday 19, 2021. Later after the service, DP Ruto held a full to capacity rally at Githunguri Town in his bid to sell off the campaigns to the public.
The claims emerged that Deputy President's motorcade walked over one of the locals where it was allegedly reported that the man passed away after he was rushed to the hospital for treatments.
However, the United Democratic Alliance through the Party's digital strategist Dennis Itumbi has dismissed the claims that the DP Ruto's motorcade crashed the person. While answering one of the claimer, Itumbi said that no one was injured or died and urged Kenyans to ignore such romours as they are meant to tarnish DP Ruto's name in the vote-rich Mt Kenya region.
