Today is the 20th of October, the day that Kenyans from different walks of lives unite to mark the Mashujaa Day Celebrations.It is a very important holiday in Kenya as we commemorate the good work that different people from different areas did or are doing in our society.
This year's celebrations were held in Kirinyaga County and Governor Waiguru was the host. President Uhuru Kenyatta shared a podium with Deputy President William Samoei Ruto, Musalia Mudavadi, Raila Odinga, President of Malawi etc.
The event was over some minutes to 3 PM and it was now time for top government officials to go for lunch.Invited dignitaries led by President Kenyatta and DP Ruto headed to the residence of Kirinyaga's County Commissioner, Jim Njoka in Kerugoya for lunch.
