The Speaker of the Nyeri County Assembly John Kaguchia is eying the Mukurwe-Ini Member of Parliament seat in the forthcoming general elections scheduled for the month of August this year. He declared his interest for elective politics a few years. The career lawyer who is very vocal on matters politics and governance is synonymous with gracing political shows in different TV channels.
Kaguchia is a member of the United Democratic Alliance Party which is under the leadership of Deputy President William Samoei Ruto. He did not take part in the nomination exercise as he was issued with a direct ticket.
Today, he has taken to his Facebook page and displayed one of the vehicles that he is using in his parliamentary campaigns. The car model is Land Rover and it is branded UDA Party colours and his photo.
The youthful politician will face off with incumbent Hon Anthony Kiai who is in the ruling Jubilee Party.
