Today, President William Ruto was in Kalonzo's Backyard. He went to Machakos county to launch of more than 5,000 housing units in Mavoko Constituency. He was warmly received by governor Wavinya Ndeti and took to social media to say that thisconfirms the Government’s strategic focus on expanding access to quality, spacious, clean, safe and secure dwelling places at affordable cost in our country. 
That this transformative Plan goes beyond the provision of affordable housing units to presenting opportunities for gainful employment and wealth creation to millions of Kenyans struggling to put food on the table.
That he was glad to commission the Mavoko Affordable Housing Project in Machakos County in the company of Lands and Housing CS Zakariah Njeru, Governors Wavinya Ndeti (Machakos), Julius Malombe (Kitui), Machakos Senator Agnes Kavindu, Mavoko MP Patrick Makau, among other leaders.
This comes as Azimio team is in Kamukunji to plan for he they will make sure that they put the government on the move to deliver their promises.
