Looming Betrayal? Kisii ODM Leaders Changes Tune on Regional Politics

Orange Democratic Movement leaders from Kisii have at some point have betrayed their own CS Matiang'i after failing to agree to unite and changing tune on regional politics as they distance themselves from what they have termed as political selfishness.

Kisii County senator Sam Ongeri from People Daily Publication, has accused the Members of Parliament for being dishonest since they have been in leadership for four years now but have started preaching unity just 10 months to elections.

"Where have they been since they were elected four years ago, Is it now that they have realised that the community was not united. Is it the unity of the community or the elected leaders?" Ongeri posted.

Adding to his statement, he has said that it's the leaders that are not united but not the community and those who are pushing for unity are only confused politically.

This comes days after a section of politicians had been meeting CS Fred Matiang'i in Kajiado County for talks.

Governor James Ongwae, Women Representative Janet Ongera and ODM national treasurer Timothy Bosire are among the leaders who have rubbished off the push for a regional political party.
