As Kenyans prepare to elect their next president in August this year, political players are trying their level best to reach the electorates. This means that they have already kicked off their campaigns. Several candidates are eyeing the presidential seat. Among them is deputy president William Ruto. The second in command has hit the ground running as he holds a series of rallies across the country.
Yesterday, he was at Jacaranda grounds in Embakasi East constituency. His rally was almost cut short as there were rical youth groups who clashed. The were throwing stones at each other forcing police to lob teargass at them. Dp Ruto proceeded with his rally and accused Raila of planning the violence. Gladys Sholei has now come out and revealed the identity of the person who organised for the chaos at the rally. He accused Babu Owino of being responsible for that.
"It was Babu's crowd at the Jacaranda because they were chanting his name. Stone throwing and violence is ODM's signature and they haven't changed". The lawmaker revealed.
