Kericho county senator Aaron Cheruiyot has now named alleged competitor Deputy President William Ruto will face in the 2022 presidential elections.
Taking to his official Twitter account on Thursday evening, the vocal TangaTanga lawmaker noted that the 2022 presidential race is now clear on who the 'fighters' are.
Honourable Cheruiyot confidently claimed that DP William Ruto and his boss the President, Uhuru Kenyatta are the 'real' competitors in the upcoming general elections.
He has since claimed that all the political happenings being witnessed here and there are just being staged as a political campaign method.
''Don't get confused, 2022 is plain and simple WSR Vs Uhuru. All these other machinations r simply props on stage being puppeteered left or right by the masters in an attempt to outdo the opponent in this game. I know who will eventually go home crying to mummy,''said Aaron Cheruiyot.
The sentiments by the Jubilee lawmaker comes moments after KANU chairman and Baringo senator Gedion Moi announced his presidential bid.
The KANU party through the Secretary General Honourable Nick Salat maintained that it was now time for KANU to be supported by other leaders.
"We have been supporting people and it is time they also support us. I ask all of you members of our party that we go to the grassroots and galvanize our support," Salat told the delegates.
