According to Kimunya, the second in command might have been hiring people to attend his rallies.
He however delivered bad news to DP Ruto telling him that the massive crowds he has been hiring might not vote for him as a group.
"Amos Kimunya: You may hire crowds to show that you have the numbers, but on voting day, you are not going to hire crowds to go and vote. #Kivumbi2022 @KenMijungu @Akisawandera @SophiaWanuna," Kimunya stated during an interview at KTN News TV station.
His remarks triggered mixed reactions with section of Kenyans wondering how the DP was able to hire the Githurai crowd if indeed he has been hiring them.
"Kwani huyu mtu ako na pesa nyingi aje? Frm kieni, kibigoti, muranga, Maragwa, kenol to githu alipea hawa wote pesa? Ndanganya toto Mr"
"Ruto must very rich if he hired all those supporters....ogopa hiyo ndume."
