On his twitter page, the Deputy President Dr William Ruto has disclosed details of his Thursday meeting at his home in Karen Nairobi county.
The Deputy President on his twitter page reported that he is so grateful to witness the partnership of various grassroot leaders ahead of the Machakos county Senatorial by-election.
Dr William Ruto said that the grassroot leaders from the vote rich Machakos county have settled to favour Urbanus Mutunga Muthama Ngengele as the candidate for the Senatorial by-election in the county.
The Deputy President has reported that the above mentioned political leader is a member of the Hustler movement from the Machakos county.
The DP used the opportunity to give his gratitudes to both the grassroot leaders from Machakos as well as the Hustler movement aspirant (Mutinga Ngengele).
"Our gratitude to them for their audacity and leadership to cede their aspirations and back Ngengele for the race," William Ruto noted on his twitter page;
