Speaking in Isiolo town on Sunday after attending a church service at family Day St Eusebius Cathedral, Ruto rubbished the Safari Park meetings, saying some few wealthy individuals cannot purport to be speaking on behalf of Kenyans.
He reiterated that he will never honor any invite by the Mt Kenya Foundation Group, adding that he will only attend interviews with the common mwanainchi at the ground.
"If there is a place I will come for an interview is places like Isiolo where I will engage the people directly to address their problems," stated Ruto
At the same time, Ruto donated 2 million shillings for the small traders in Isiolo. He also promised to address the problems facing Boda boda riders in the town, saying they also deserve to be empowered so that they can depend on themselves.
This was after the Boda Boda group took Ruto to task, urging his UDA party to address their issues since they had been neglected by the local leadership and the National Government.
