Political parties across the country are busy building their ground support ahead of 2022 polls. The parties are restructuring themselves and seeking new political friends. One of the vibrant parties in Kenya is ODM party. The party has well laid party structures and party branches in various parts of the country.
Today senior ODM leaders hosted a delegation from Mount Kenya region at the party's headquarters in Nairobi. The delegation included grassroot leaders and aspirants from Nakuru county. Nakuru county is one of the counties in larger Mount Kenya region.
The grassroot leaders and aspirants enlisted as ODM members. The leaders held consultative meeting with senior ODM leaders. Various issues affecting the county and the region were discussed in the consultative meeting.
The party is keen on popularizing itself in the vote-rich region. The party leader has also toured the region to popularize the party and his Azimio La Umoja campaign strategy. ODM leaders present today includes Executive Director Oduor Ongwen, National election board secretary Abdullahi Tony, legal affairs officer Tony Moturi and Jared Otieno of membership department.
