A group of youths and political leaders aligned to the deputy president cordially welcomed former Prime Minister Hon Raila Odinga to the Kalenjin ahead of his scheduled visit, claiming that he still owes them an explanation over the Mau forest evictions.
Members of the Uasin Gishu Moiben Youth Association further said that while they welcome Raila to the region, he must be transparent about his relationship with DP William Ruto and show respect.
"We welcome him to North rift to clarify his agenda for the area ahead of 2022," said the group's chairman, Alex chirchir.
The two leaders have had feuds with the chemistry that existed back in 2007 deteriorating. Since the handshake,Dr William Ruto has been vocal enough to accuse the ODM leader Raila Odinga for the failures of Jubilee government.
Kindy share and commend.
