The people of the Mt. Kenya region are being targeted, according to former Nyeri Town representative Ngunjiri Wambugu. Wambugu believes it is incorrect for certain Rift Valley MPs to declare they would impeach CS Kuria when it is clear that he was not solely responsible for the decision to import GMO maize.

Ngunjiri Wambugu makes it quite obvious that the Cabinet, which the president himself presided over, gave its blessing to the importation of GMO corn. Moses Kuria is the target on purpose, claims Wambugu, because he is from the Mt. Kenya region.
A number of Mt. Kenya region leaders have also publicly stated that they believe the government is pursuing them.
Just today, Ngunjiri reacted immediately to all Rift Valley MPs who have been planning to oppose the debate over impeaching new CS Moses Kuria.
Moses Kuria has been trending on social media, and as the issue of importing GMO maize took on a new twist, some leaders started blaming Kuria.
Now Wambugu has warned those MPs, telling them to stop attacking the Mount Kenya region. What could you like to comment on as you read this message?
