"Hot Air" Raila & Martha Hits Back At Supreme Court Reasoned Judgement, Reveals What it Lacks

The Kenyan leadership of Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance has responded to the full ruling on the consolidated petition for the 2022 presidential election as one that lacks jurisprudential value and is nothing but "hot air".

Raila Odinga and Martha Karua, who ran in the presidential election on August 9th but lost to President William Ruto, said the decision lacked logic and integrity.

The two argued that the Supreme Court bench of seven judges acted as adversaries rather than impartial arbitrators and totally disregarded their evidence by failing to give them a fair trial.

Azimio poked holes in the issue of IEBC Chair Wafula Chebukati's role in relation to the other commissioners.

The coalition party accused the Supreme Court, which unanimously dismissed the case, of speaking on the phone of unlawful conduct by Chebukati, which Azimio saw as sufficient reason to annul the election.
