Nyeri County Residents have today forced Another Luo Elder to temporarily stop his speech, after demanding that it's indeed sad and unfortunate that their Governor Hon Mutahi wa Kahiga was denied the chance to address the locals, despite the fact he is the host.
According to the viral video clip seen by this writer, the unidentified Luo Elder is seen struggling to address the locals who are heard chanting Kahiga chants, even as security personnel beef up the security."Sisi Tunataka Huyo mwingine. Kwa Nini Mnataka Kutubeba aki? How comes Kahiga apewi chance ya kutongelesha?" Another Resident is heard saying.
Meanwhile, a few days ago Kahiga rubbished Nyoro's sentiments at the burial ceremony held at St Benedict Kiamuiru Catholic Church saying the region had enough votes and able presidential candidates to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta.
"The mountain should not be boxed to support a candidate with a whopping 8 million votes. Nyoro may speak whatever he wishes because they have produced two Presidents," Kahiga said referring to the founding President Mzee Jomo Kenyatta and President Uhuru Kenyatta.
