Though it appeared lightly at Nyayo Stadium on 29th April 2022 during the state funeral when president Uhuru Kenyatta failed to shake DP Ruto's hands, Kenyans have the issue with such much seriousness. The incident did not go well with many, who got stimulated to react in different ways.
The Gatundu North member of Parliament, Honorable Mosses Kuria is one of those who took the issue on a bad side. In his own opinion, Kuria hit president Uhuru Kenyatta over the matter saying that refusing to greet someone is a sign of childish behavior. Additionally, the lawmaker said that such could also be perpetuated by lack of proper child upkeep.

"Moses Kuria amemchamba Uhuru kwa tuhuma za kususia viganja vya DP Ruto wakati wa salamu.
Kuria anadai kukosa kumsalimia mwenzako ni ishara ya malezi mabaya uliyopata ukiwa mtoto.

Not only Mosses Kuria, many other Kenyans seem to have been irritated by the incident..
