The president of Kenya, William Ruto, arrived this evening in Uganda. The president, Yoweri Museveni, and other top government officials greeted him. President Ruto is slated to attend as the primary guest tomorrow, which marks Uganda's Independence Day.

The presidents of Uganda and William Ruto are expected to speak privately about trade and other matters. It is anticipated that Kenyan president William Ruto will reach significant commercial accords with Uganda, particularly in areas of mutual interest for the two countries.
There was a diplomatic issue as a result of recent remarks made by Muhoozi Kainerugaba, particularly his threat to invade Nairobi. Since Kenyans have been complaining about it, a diplomatic dispute has developed.
To reiterate that the two nations are in fact inseparable siblings, Kenya's president, William Ruto, visited Uganda today. Kenya and Uganda are expected to expand commerce only if they work together rather than when they openly quarrel.
