"During the tour, over 20 county MCAs drawn from both Jubilee and ODM parties endorsed Mudavadi for the country’s top seat," read part of ANC party's Facebook post.
Also during the his three-days visit to Nakuru which ended on Sunday, more than 500 representatives from various communities living in the aforementioned county pledged to support his State House bid.
While in Nakuru, the ANC chief outlined his plans to revive the country's economy which had been negatively affected by the consequences of novel Coronavirus (COVID-2019).
According to Mudavadi, he would bolster economy development in Kenya if he becomes president by waging a winning war against graft.
Further, he noted that he would lower taxes in a bid to reduce the tax burden on Kenyans who are struggling to earn a living.
This comes as the date for the next general elections draws close. Besides Mudavadi, other politicians including Dr Ruto, Machakos governor Dr Alfred Mutua and former United Nations Conference on Trade And Development Secretary General Dr Mukhisa Kituyi among others are preparing themselves to make a stab on presidency in 2022.
