The Chairman of the United Nations Security council, Mr Uhuru Kenyatta who also doubles as President of the Republic of Kenya has arrived at the White House for bilateral talks with US President Joe Biden.
President Uhuru has now been invited to the White House by three US administrations since assuming office in 2013 with William Ruto as his deputy.
He was for the first time invited by former American president Barack Obama in the Blue Room during a US-Africa Leaders Summit dinner at the White House in 2014.
His second round was in 2020 when he met Biden's predecessor Donald Trump who later announced the United States plans to initiate trade agreement negotiations with the Republic of Kenya.
He has beaten the odds by being the first African Leader to hold talks with US President Joe Biden during his first year and term as POTUS.
It is presumably hard to regularly make visits in the white house especially if you are an African leader a thing Uhuru has done with less struggle.
