Another Kenya Kwanza Politician Concedes Defeat To an Azimio Candidate

The much awaited elections are currently ongoing. Apart of the presidential race that's fiercely tight and could take more time to finalize, a section of candidates especially the MCA's MP's from some parts of the country have already had their results out.

The intense race Westlands Member of Parliament between former Law Society of Kenya (LSK) president Nelson Havi of DP Ruto-led Kenya Kwanza and Azimio's Tim Wanyonyi has finally come to a nutshell. According to the results, Tim Wanyoyi has beaten Havi hands down and would now be the next MP for Westlands constituency.

Taking to social media, Nelson Havi has expressed his acceptance and satisfaction to the results as he concedes defeat. He has acknowledged all Kenyans who voted for him as he congratulates Wanyonyi for his massive win. This comes just a day after another Kenya Kwanza ally, Moses Kuria also conceded defeat.

“Well done Team Havi. We are the minority in the contest for Westlands. The majority chose Timothy Wanyonyi. They duly deserve him in their wisdom or lack of it," he wrote on Twitter

"On our part, we are contented with the outcome. Congratulations to you my elder brother, Tim Wanyonyi. Serve well," he added.
