President Kenyatta Breaks Silence as He Jokes About Lifting Curfew


As the calls to end the ongoing dusk to dawn curfew increases, President Uhuru Kenyatta has finally breaks his silence as he jokes about lifting curfew.

Speaking to Kahawa Garrison residents in Kiambu county after unveiling new level 4 , 150-bed capacity military hospital at Kahawa as part of the activities to commemorate this year KDF day, the head of state breaks silence for increasing calls to lift curfew.


Addressing the matters, the head of State jokingly hint in extending curfew as a results of increasing number of newborns as he wants to see population growing.

"From what I have witnessed here in Kahawa, it seems like curfew must stay. The numbers of newborns in this area has increased. Let this curfew go on as we wants Kenya's population to continue growing." President said.


His remark flows just after ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi pleads to the head of state to lift the ongoing curfew that has subjected Kenyans to hardship economy that is adversely affected by Covid 19.
